I began my journey in sewing and designing at the age of 8, inspired by my mom and both grandmothers, who were skilled seamstresses. Their knowledge greatly me, and I furthered my education by earning a degree in Costume/Fashion Design from the University of Minnesota. Upon graduating, I launched my own business.
My Story
The name Northern Attire originated when I launched my business. I collaborated with a company from Grand Marais, MN, creating parkas and bibs for mushers for several years, all while working at a custom bridal shop in downtown Minneapolis. Although I haven't made parkas lately, this experience equipped me with the skills to create bags for underwater hockey.
